MiniLaLa featured on Style Collective!

It's exciting to see MiniLaLa featured around the place, and Style Collective is one of my faves, so I had to share this one (check out the media gallery on my website for more)

If you haven't already, take a look around at Style Collective - so many great finds!

Peekaboo Magazine - very exciting!

Have you heard about Peekaboo magazine yet? It's a brand new Brisbane magazine (Brissie has got all the good stuff at the moment!) - and guess what?! It's absolutely FREE!

This isn't like the free magazines you have seen in the past, Peekaboo will showcase the best of what Brisbane has to offer (as well as online finds and more), without sacrificing magazine quality - you want a copy, don't you?

The first issue will be launched November 1st at Mathilda's Market in Brisbane.

Whether you are in Brisbane or not, you can request a copy, or subscribe by emailing bianca@peekaboomagazine.com.au (there may be a small fee for postage if required).

Habitat Baby

If you're anything like me, then you love the idea of creating a beautiful bedroom for your baby. I have just discovered a brand new label, Habitat Baby, which stocks the most gorgeous things for baby's room!

Habitat Baby is Brisbane based, and the bedding and decor is all made by owner Carla - who also happens to be (busy) Mum to three lovely girls!

I especially love that Habitat Baby doesn't just make bedding - you can get matching lamp shades, curtains, cushions, plus some gorgeous Belle and Boo prints...Here are a few of my favourites

I also love that Carla is a MiniLaLa fan, so of course I have to show you the beautiful Annalise and Ellyssa (twins) in their 'Dandelion Fields' nappies

If you're in Brisbane, you can see Habitat Baby this weekend at Mathildas Market.

Katie and Ava

You know how I love receiving photos? Well it's even better when they're taken by a talented photographer!! Katie Walker-Smith, a Brisbane photographer, is (I'm proud to say) a big fan of MiniLaLa and was kind enough to let me post some of her photos to share with you all!

Firstly, Katie's gorgeous daughter Ava, cousin Claudia, and Posy doll, Mena having a tea party under the gorgeous jacarandas.

Ava wearing her MiniLaLa hair clips - are they cute or what!? (Ava as well as the hair clips, that is)

You have to see Ava's room - Katie tells me it was inspired by my Plum Kimono nappy! How cool is that!? And not only is Katie a super-talented photographer, but she also made the quilt and other pretty things for Ava's room - what a clever lady!

Thank you so much for sharing these photos, Katie! Ava is divine, and so is your work!

You can take a look at more of Katie's work here.

Lovely LaLa Babies!

I'm sure you all know how much I love receiving photos of babies with their MiniLaLa goodies! I bet you love seeing them almost as much as I do, so here are some recent photos of some very sweet babies...

Beautiful Elka

Gorgeous Ellie, with her Posy doll, Jacqueline

Spunky Tristan

I have just added photos to the gallery for the first time in a while, and I will try to blog some photos every now and then (though finding time is always something I struggle with). These little munchkins are just too adorable not to share!

Thanks to their Mummies and Daddies for letting me show these off, too.

Awwwwwww!

MiniLaLa at The Baby Show, London

How exciting is this?! The lovely Alix, from Cheeks and Cherries, exhibited at The Baby Show at Earls Courts, London over the weekend. Here are a few photos

This was MiniLaLa's big introduction to the international market, and what a place to do it! It was also Alix's first show, so congratulations! You did a fantastic job!!

If you are in the UK, you can visit Alix and her team on November 15 at the Designer Baby Show.

Voila!!

MiniLaLa has a new look! What do you think? I love it!!

I wanted something a little more sophisticated and elegant, so here is the new logo - I love it! I think it still says 'MiniLaLa', do you?

I have been working with a lovely designer, Natalie Milani, on my new fabric range, and she drew up this gorgeous little model for me - and yes, again, I love it!!

You're also getting a sneak peek at a couple of the new designs here... They'll be available in December. You'll have to wait to see the rest!!

Do you love it all as much as I do!?

PBC expo

I spent the day on Friday with the lovely Tania and 'the gang' from Darlings Downunder. The Pregnancy, Babies, and Childrens expo was great! Exhausting, but good fun.

I had to show you the Darlings stall - doesn't it look fantastic!? How gorgeous are those posters!? And you can see the wall of MiniLaLa to the right.

The expo continues today from 10am, so you can still pop in for a visit and pick up some nappy bargains!

Is your baby the next face of MiniLaLa?

With the new MiniLaLa range arriving in December, I am organising a photo shoot for next month - of course with the gorgeously talented Kristen Cook.

I am looking for one or two babies aged around 6-8 months old. The shoot will be held mid-November and the babies will ideally be sitting, but not yet crawling.

If you are located in Melbourne (the shoot will be in the western suburbs), are available weekdays in November, and would like to see your baby as the next MiniLaLa model, please email me at carli@minilala.com.au with a recent photo of your baby and 'Model' in the subject line.

Please come see us on Friday!

Please! I'll be assisting the lovely Tania from Darlings Downunder at the Pregnancy, Babies, and Childrens Expo at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre (Southbank). Tania will be offering some great deals, and best of all, you can see, touch and feel hundreds of nappies - including MiniLaLa!

If you can't make it Friday, never mind (though I'll be sad to have missed you), the Melbourne expo runs on Saturday and Sunday as well. You can print a free ticket here.

I LOVE Olive's Friend Pop

If you haven't heard of it already, Olive's Friend Pop is the most gorgeous new Australian label!! The most divine, vintage-inspired children's clothing - you must take a look at the website!

I (well, Ivie) was lucky enough to win a gorgeous apron thanks to KidsfashioNZ , and I just cannot even describe how beautiful it is! Ivie keeps telling me how 'pretty' it is. I must show you!

I also cannot wait to get my hands on some of these overalls as soon as the range is officially released in February. Love them, love them!!!

Nest Nappies - officially open!

Remember I told you about our lovely Brisbane stockist? Well Nest is open - doesn't the shop look great!

Here's my favourite - Elizabeth takes her girls to work (lovely, right?!), and Savannah loves to help:

Oh, and that wall behind Savannah is reserved for all the MiniLaLa goddies which have (hopefully) just arrived!

My lovely babies!

I've become a real blog-a-holic lately, haven't I!? I just have so many things going on and so much that I want to share!

Here are a few new photos of my babies:

Ivie in her Saints gear last weekend

Nicholas trying on Poppy's glasses

Ivie is a real houdini with her nappies! Here she is with one on backward in an attempt to get her to keep it on (lasted about 5 minutes). Velcro, snaps, frontwards, backwards, pants on, pants off - doesn't matter, she will get it off!

Here's Ivie with cousin Lucy - aren't they adorable!? They love each other so much.(Do you like Ivie's hair? It was getting a bit wild, so she's now sporting a little bob).

Nicholas riding a pony yesterday. He was a little worried in the beginning, but thought it was great!
